We have had so much fun studying The Burgess Bird Book for Children. While our kids already knew several birds, reading & talking about this book together has helped them learn so much more. Better yet, it's made the personalities of the birds come alive for them. Anyone who's watched a Wren might agree that Jenny Wren's character is pretty spot-on! To help further our learning, and work on our bird identification skills (mine included!), I created this Bird Bingo pack. Included in this pack are:
- Blank Bingo Cards: One with 16 squares (see above), and one with 9 squares for younger players
- Bird Picture Squares to cut out and assemble onto each bingo card
- Bird Identification Sheet, with Chapter references for each bird
- Instruction Sheet with how to assemble, and the different ways you can play including:
- Reading Bingo: With the included Bird Name Squares
- Phonics Bingo: With the included Bird Letter Squares
